Bit more progress on the shells, started with the boston green one but ran out of paint so have to get some more tomorrow. Got two coats given to the hellrot red one and its starting to turn out pretty good, still needs a few more coats as the colour seems a bit light.

Got both kits on ebay, the revell one came from England and the dragon one came from america.

what happened to that green? is that its real color? the red one is hot...nice paint selection

and to the OP, if you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for the kits individually? im looking for one myself...

The dragon kit cost me $50, the revell one was $35

Thought i had more of the green paint but ran out. Both are genuine bmw colours, Boston green metalic and helrot red.

Small update. Been busy trying to get the finish on the shells right. I'm still not entirely happy with them but this is the current progress.

That's nice cars that you're building.
Recently i've build also a BMW E36 M3, for my friend who had a real one.
Last week he selled the 1:1 version, unfortunally.
