Re: Suzuki Vitara

I'm always amazed at the quality of your paint jobs-they're better before polishing than mine after.

Re: Suzuki Vitara

Looks super nice! Your paint job is wonderful! For some reason I think cars with stock wheels make the entire product look even more realistic.
One thing though, did you glue the rear axle on already? Rear wheels seem to lean too much forward.

Re: Suzuki Vitara

Last days I did some little work on various small parts, like the numberplates, lights and other small stuff for the interior.

Yesterday I started assembly the interior. The seats are improved with a little detail. I cut the headrest from the seat and made metal axles on it. I also filled up the back of the seat with styrene.

After that I painted the seats in semigloss black. The dash and other small parts where painted flat black.

I used some grey interiorflocking for the floor and added some chromesilver details on the dashboard.

Than I got further with the chassis. This needs some wheatering, so I picked up my wheatersets.

Now this was all done, I only had to do the body.

Today I started with it and finished it also today First I polished the body and waxed it. Than I painted the windowtrims, and the black trim around the windows.

After that I placed some bmf on the front and taillights and I also placed the lightglasses. The indicatorlights were also placed on the front.

Some small parts like: the wipers, numperplates, mirrors, and the 5th wheel cover were also placed.

While this was dry I almost forgot to paint the Suzuki badge in the frontgrill.

This were my left over parts

Now it's finished, and you can see it in the completed forum.

Kris.
