93' Buick Park Ave Ultra Injector problem
I have out in the barn a 93' Buick Park Ave Ultra. While in the process of trying to figure out an altenator problem the car decided it didn't want to start anymore.
Investigating into the problem I found the injectors are not working (brake cleaner into the intake and I have 40 psi on the schrader valve). Just wondering what ideas there are out there. Also I don’t know if this applies to the car but there is no refrigerant in the system, it ran before so I don’t think that would be the problem. |

Re: 93' Buick Park Ave Ultra Injector problem
Does the engine turn over and if so, do you have spark? What is the battery voltage? Are you talking about A/C refrigerant, if so that has nothing to do with a no start!

Re: 93' Buick Park Ave Ultra Injector problem
Sorry this was put on the back burner for a bit. Yes, it turns over, I have spark, 12.5 volts and on some fords the A/C high pressure switch will not allow the engine to start.
I also have 40 psi on the rail. What I don't have is the injectors injecting. I can (but I don't like to) spray some brake clean in the intake and it runs. I just have no idea what is causing the injectors not to fire. |

Re: 93' Buick Park Ave Ultra Injector problem
Do have access to a noid light or volt meter to check if the injectors are receiving voltage ?
Also try test the Throttle Position Sensor, and clean the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Fuel pressure looks to be within limits : 34-47 psi. Post back any findings. |
