Seat Belts for Honda RA273
Hello again,
I 'm going to build a Tamiya 1/12 Honda RA273. I search for many references, but still I have many questions...  Basically I don't found references for seat belts... Tamiya in the reissue kit (also in old, I think), don 't give us anything for seat belts. In real life, the Honda RA273 (1967) don 't have seatbelts? Can anyone tell me the truth.  . What 's about the color of them (if it has...)?Thanks for your time.

Got the bigscale laying around here also... over the years i collect pics that i find on the net, so when i built the kit, i have plenty of reference pics...
I never noticed it before but there are indeed no seatbelt materials in the kit... Searched my reference pics but cant find any with seatbelts. I know in the early days of F1 that they raced without seatbelts... And the fact that in my other bigscales, tamiya supplies seatbelts, makes me think that there were no seatbelts in the actual car.

The RA273 did not have seatbelts. They got mandantory in 71, thanks to the efforts of Stewart, some used them earlier, but in 66/early 67 Afaik nobody used them.

Not specifically related to the RA273, but there was a recent discussion over at TNF about seatbelts. http://forums.autosport.com/showthre...hreadid=105868 My guess is, the RA273 didn't have them.
