Testors Saleen S7

Anyone know more or own one?
May be a decent base to make a S7R?

Re: Testors Saleen S7

What you see is what you get; big mold lines, wide door gaps, low detail...typical cheap diecast. It's the only game in town though, and any good modeler can take the challenge to do it right if that's what they want

Re: Testors Saleen S7

My understanding it it's a little small, perhaps 1/26. Cursa Models makes a 1/24 slot car that is based on the Testors/Maisto diecast. Apparently the main body has been stretched and widened but the cabin is still 1/26.

Thanks guys. I guessed it wasn't superb stuff, also by the cheap price, but if it is not scale correct it would be big problem.
