2000 eclipse gauges

my gas gauge onnly goes down half way..when im low on gas the only way i know is when the gas light comes on. What should i do about fixing it because it gets real annoying after awhile..and another thing on the gauges my temp. gauge doesnt illuminate when i turn on the lights..how should i go about fixing this problem too..ima newbie on eclipses!!
