1998 Sububan Starts, then quits

It will start just fine then quit, no problems before at all..any ideas? thought it was a frozen fuel line, but it warmed up here in Wisconsin and still acts the same..

My GMC does the same thing I thought it might be my fuel filter but that wasn't it. I'm still baffled but for me it is intermittent and usually it won't start up again normally until the next day. It make me no longer feel safe driving it since Its always in the back of my mind right before I start it "if it will happen again."

Good luck

When this happens- is the security light (on instrument cluster) on or flashing?

Normally the light should light and go out within 5 seconds after start....

My Security light in the cluster turned on today and stays on while driving but I'm not sure which issue it has to deal with I have a few. Please see this thread

Today I replaced my TPS sensor per the AutoZone counter guy what the heck its only $30 and yesterday I bought a can of Mass Air Flow cleaner and I removed a thoroughly cleaned my MAF. I also replaced the Fuel Filter. I was also told to maybe try replacing the Kram Sensor (not sure of spelling) which he said was inside the distributor?

Turn the key to the run position and let it sit like that for 10 min, that will reset the security system, you may need to do this a couple times.
