Exclamation please help, 98 neon and maybe a couple answers to idling prob

ok well i just put in a new clutch and about a week or two ago, since then when i start my car in the morning or after school it makes this horrible grinding sound from the tranny and there is only a certin place when i push the clutch in that it will quiet. when the car is warm it doesnt make a noise, im thinking that when we put the tranny back in that we scratched the pressure plate up and there is barley anny time from when you press the clutch in untill it engages, like you push it in 4 or 5 inches if that and its completly engaged idk if it has anything to do with it, but my thought and im only 17 and dont know much about cars but my thought is that the throw out bearing is engagued just enough that it is hitting the pressure plate which is scratched so it is constantly spinning against the p plate, and when its warm it doesnt make that sound anymore??? any help would be awesome thanks in advance

and to the idling problem
my car was horrible sounded like crap like vrruum vrum vruuuum vrum vruuuum

just really rough i checked vac lines, intake everything then i go to seven eleven and get a three dollar bottle of injector cleaner, and by the time i put half of it in my tank to the time iwalked to my garage it was back to normal, i know tihs is common sense but try it if you have rough idle it could be your problem all along!!

Did you replace the throwout bearing when you replaced the clutch?

yeah we did, we made sure to replace it when we replaced the clutch so we wouldnt have to go through tthe trouble of replacing it later on. and it is also winter here so i dont know if that has anything to do with it, but today it was pretty warm and from what i recall it didnt make that noise
