Manual Transmission Video

I'm currently working on my 5 speed trans and I thought I'd post a video on the synchronizer movement on my input shaft. Click on the picture to play:



It's a bit dark but that's the best I can do for now. However I found this one that I think explains synchros a lot better. It's not a Geo Metro transmission but the principle is the same. Watch the movement of the synchro and the shift fork to get an idea of where to look for wear and tear:

Thanks Johnny. Our synchro problems are kind of like the giant squid: everyone knows they exist but pictures of the beast are very rare.
