Thanks to these great repair companies!!!

Joe how is your vehicle doing now. I am thinking of using absfixer.

I know this is way late a response to your post, but since this was where I first heard of ABSfixer, I thought I'd offer my current experience.

Shipped him my unit and got it back a few days later (I paid for FedEx 2 day each way). Installed it and got a "Service Brake System" error on my dash display (not there prior to shipping) - 2003 Chevy Silverado. Uninstalled and reinstalled it and got the same error. Called ABSfixer and he overnighted another "refurbished" unit to me (putting a charge on my credit card which I was NOT informed of). I installed that and got the same error. Figuring it must be some sort of programming issue at this point, I shipped the second unit back to him even though I was assured it would retain all original programming.

Took it to the Chevy dealer this morning to check it and reprogram it if needed. It threw a code indicating that the EBCM has an internal short.

So, I've gotten two bad modules from him, he hasn't returned a single call or e-mail, I've paid for a repair, FedEx shipping 3 times and a dealer diagnostic as well as a fair amount of time invested installing, uninstalling, shipping and sitting at the Chevy dealer on New Year's Eve. I still have no functional EBCM.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt one more time, but only until the end of the day today. After that, I'll have to assume I've been ripped off and start behaving accordingly.
