Problem Starting
Hello to all.
I have an Espace auto 2.2 1996 phase 2 and the problem starter won't turn when hot after a journey.When engine is cold turns and starts.Replaced alternator and charging ok.Engine seems very hot after journey.Temp gauge reads fine. Any suggestions welcome.Just bought the vehicle and had the gearbox done.

Check, clean and copper grease ALL connections between battery and starter. Just because it looks good doesn't mean that it is. I had a similar problem but all it took was a clean of the batt terminals and plenty of copper grease.
Other than that your engine seems ok. Hope that helps
