There's probably a thousand different threads so I'll just add mine.

What is the best exhaust for preformance and sound for the least ammount of money but still good quality for a '95 non turbo eclipse gs

Re: Exhaust

I would say anything that you can get that is made of galvanized aluminum that is mandrel bent would be my only criteria. You don't need to pay for a name. Anything that is name brand normally costs a lot more than they are superior in any sort of quality.

No that's just the cat-back. All n/t exhausts are 3-piece kits. You've got the rear O2 bung right before the resonator and then it bends around the rear crossmember, then part 3 connects above the axle.

3" is overkill. Go for a 2.5" for N/T. eBay has those for a lot cheaper.

A header is good. ALl depends on what you want to do.

Ya a 2.5" will be the best. I've had one since I did my exhaust and it's decent. I have a Tsudo off of eBay. Decent sound, kind of loud though like most n/t cars with exhausts. Shh.... I'll be doing a 3" turbo back this summer!
