Smile Interior Press Button Lights Broken

On the driver side push button light I go to push it and you don't hear the click for the on switch, the passenger one works just fine. So basicly I just want to know, how do I get the light cover off with out breaking anything, and can I buy a replacement switch? Any help will be great thanks!

Re: Interior Press Button Lights Broken

the whole assembly has to be removed for the switch to be replaced. It is a snap on unit but I forget which direction you push it to release sorry. You can't buy just one switch you will need to order the complete wiring harness and then replace both switches. Its not that hard to do. Also in case you are wandering if a lightbulb blows out the whole unit has to come down to replace that also.
