slipping in reverse

hi
ive got a dodge ram 2500 with the v-10 2wd slipping in reverse i was going to pull the trans and find a used one just wondering if their might be a fix for this before i do this. any help is appreciated thanks jeff

every chrysler i had reverse is the first gear to go out ,it will slip at first then one day not back up. you might get a shop to adjust the low /reverse band and buy a little time. but they are most likely to reccommend that you go ahead and rebuild it.if

every chrysler i had reverse is the first gear to go out ,it will slip at first then one day not back up. you might get a shop to adjust the low /reverse band and buy a little time. but they are most likely to reccommend that you go ahead and rebuild it.if you get a used one
