95 Chevy Truck 1/2 Ton, 350/5.7L
I installed new brakes on my truck a month ago. Last week, my pedal started going alway to the floor when I stopped. I checked my brake fluid and it was extremely low. I added fluid back to the top and it has helped a little but still goes to the floor. What may be causing this?

Re: 95 Chevy Truck 1/2 Ton, 350/5.7L
You probably let air get into the brake lines by running it too low. First find out where the leak is and fix that...you can see the oil staining the back side of the brake drum, or radial streaks on the inside of the tires and wheels where the fluid drips and is flung off during rotation. If no leaks at the wheels, then check the lines and connections for oil-staining, corrosion, or rubbing.
After that, buy a pint or two (of brake fluid) and bleed them. Start with the farthest wheel from the master cylinder (rear right), and end with the closest (front left). Hope this helps!

Looks like there was air in the system. Brakes are functioning fine now.
