99 Durango starting issue
Lately my Durango will start but not stay running. I can usually get it going if I stay with it and stay on the gas pedal. And the other thing I noticed the other day is when I drive it, shut it off, and then try to start it again, it doesnt seem to want to turn over very good and the clock resets.
Is this a battery/alternator type of problem? any thoughts thanks mlh |

Sounds like a bad battery. Low voltage and computer loses IAC count. That is why you have to hold your foot on the accelerator.

Re: 99 Durango starting issue
Yes it was the battery. I took it to the auto parts store and they put it on a scanner and it said it was the battery. Bought a new one and it is starting up just fine. thanks
