Wheel and Exhaust Suggestions 1994 C1500

Anyone got any quick numbers on front and rear wheel backspacing, bolt patterns and sizes.

It has the stock 15 inch mags on it. I want to do a Chev. Motor Division rally wheels, 15 inch. stock width (?) front and a slightly larger tire in the back. Can I use the same size wheels ans just add a slightly wider tire in the back??

Any suggestions for an affordable cat back dual exhaust set up?

Any help appreciated.

Re: Wheel and Exhaust Suggestions 1994 C1500

You can go slightly wider in the back as long as you also lower your aspect ratio to keep the overall tire circumference the same. This'll keep your speedo/odo calibrated and prevent another thread titled "HELP - MPGs down after tire swap". There are more accurate calculators online, but a rule of thumb I've found is that for every 20mm increase in width, the aspect ratio should be reduced by 5. So in my case for instance, for a stock 245/75-R16, I'd go up to a 265/70-R16.

Also note that by mixing tire sizes, you can't rotate them around to get more even wear. You're stuck with swapping left with right.

Personally, I'd look for bigger diameter rims than 15"...that way the wider tires in the back won't look so balloonish. GM trucks go up to 17" in the same 6-bolt pattern, so you have a nice assortment to choose from.

Don't have anything on dual exhausts...I'm looking around for some myself that dump to the sides so I can haul a horse trailer...may have to go custom. Anybody know better?

Good luck!
