Dashlights on a 97 Sunfire
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. The other night
I was driving home and the dashboard lights quit working. I still get the ABS warning light on but there are no light working (cant see the speedometer in the dark). I tried the switch to make the dash board lights dimmer and it didn't help, but the interior light would come on when I turned it to the far right. Basically all lights come on when you turn the key over, but nothing like RPM and Speedometer dont have lights, any help? thanks |

Re: Dashlights on a 97 Sunfire
well there are bulbs in the instrument cluster that are not exactly easy to change-some just 1/4 turn in the back of the cluster-some are soddered in. these clusters are sensitive to static electricity so be careful if you tackle it. some guys will wear a tether strap to ground themselves.hope this helps
