Hello, It appears that I have the identical problem. I would appreciate obtaining more details on the fix that you found successful i.e. ignition switch (the entire ignition or just electonic portion); and the harness (any particular part ... how would I describe it to the mechanic?) When I had my car on the diagnostic test equipment the computer and harness checked out. I am wondering if the ignition replacement would do the trick). I was also trying to track down the rational which you mentioned was on the forum. I do not know how to do it since I am a beginner. I am also not a mechanic so I want to have my facts straight when I tell mechanic something different than he suggests. He suggests replacing the turn signal and maybe computer .... to see if problem is solved.
Look forward to some words of wisdom, thanks ...

Welcome to AF.
Your post has been moved to its own thread. We prefer that old threads are not resurrected. Just do a forum search using keywords "ignition switch". Lots of posts on the issue including what the part looks like and the replacement procedure. Computer? Don't let him rip you off.
