Unhappy 98 Neon-- No power

My 98 neon 2.0 DHOC has no power. I had it for about a year. I will floor it and it barely moves, especially when getting on the e-way. "Scary!" One time I floored it and it when in neutral. What is the problem?

When was the last time you had a good tune-up?

Re: 98 Neon-- No power

I have only changed plugs and wires about six months ago. What does a major tune-up consists of?

Put a bottle of fuel injector cleaner and one of dry gas, (water out) in the tank as well.

Re: 98 Neon-- No power

You're kickdown cable linkage is froze up. It's below battery on transmission.
