Heater blower not working?

hey guys,
got a quick question, i got a 2000 grand prix with the dual digital climate control. about a month ago the heater blower stopped working, then about 3 days later it started working again. so basically it works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt, not to be redundant lol. just wondering if anyone has any ideas. i was thinking it was a wiring problem. one day i got upset enough to smack the lower dash right next to the climate controls and the heat kicked on, and also have done this a few tiems since and once in a while it kicks on. now i sadly say that i have hit it hard enough to put one of the lightbulbs out behind the controls. im not so much worried about that at this time, ill get to it later, but does anyone want to narrow the heater blower issues down for me? your guys' input would be greatly appreciated.

You need to get a new blower motor probably. Eventually yours will start to squeal really loud when it's cold out. www.moradpartscompany.com
