Ok I just got a 99 Lumina 9c6 cop package car owned exclusively by the FDNY since 8 miles on the odometer. It's in excellent shape. My questions are 4 fold: 1) Does anybody know if the Impala 3.8 and tranny will swap in and are the brakes and calipers from that car the same? 2) Any websites that are exclusive to my car? 3) I HATE AUTOMATICS!!!!!! Even though the tranny was rebuilt evidently before me getting it (shifts are almost invisible.... gotta change that fluid ASAP, lol), I really would like my car to sprout an old school Hurst shifter and white ball combo; anybody know if there is a manual transaxle swap kit or guide out there? 4) Haven't had a GM in a while, what car does it share parts interchangability with? I'm guessing maybe the GP. FYI, found a kool site called 3800Performance.com but no real "Lumina" per say stuff available. Thanks for any future help!
