5r55e tranny manual
Does anyone know where i can find a good rebuild manual for the 5r55e auto transmission? I have it sliping in between 2nd to 3rd gear, and also reverse takes a second to engage. want to repair it myself, but don't know where to find a good repair manual for that. thanks for your time.

Ford electronic transmissions are a pain to work on and diagnose,you wil do it least twice.I know a transmission shop owner that bangs his head against the wall when fixing and diagnosing a problem with a Ford electronic transmission.I would stay away from this one and take it to shop that knows what they are doing.Plus special tools are needed.
