Your working sequence amazes me. The body is all finished and now you're test fitting the undertray? That's brave. I never trust the model parts and try to test fit a lot and keep the major parts in the same sequence ( i.e. priming, painteing, decaling at the same time ).
It seems to work for you but i wouldn't really try:-)
Interesting how so many different approaches can lead to great results!

Im just so envious to see the correct original paint of this ferrari. I've seen those BBR factory built kits and they are all just so wrong. Wonder how can i have this paint someday.

Hi Jay,
It's not shown on sequences, but a Dry fit of the whole parts was done before....
Ok for the 15Th f2008 kit .....But i'm not a crazy!!!
Overall, after known that New Tameo's molds coming from......CHINA!!!

For decaling,I use the real cars Way( decals over 2k clear)and if you use the right products like softner etc.etc you will not have bad surprises in the future...

Bye

Re: Ferrari F2008 Japanese Gp 1/43 Tameo- Kimi Raikkonen

It’s quiete finished!!!
It miss only carbon decals in somewhere and the smalls aero parts.Wheels were masked and painted(soft japan tires)and miss the Brdgestone barcode and the L-6 and R-6…
In (from top )pics,u can see 2 small holes at the end of the “Ears”left and right cockpit….there will be put 2 small vertical fin that join front big aeropanels to EARS.
Wheel covers are only dry fitted(for pics).Seatbelts with new buckels(PE printed by a my special friend)that are moveble like real one. The belts passes trough like on 1/1 sabelt belts.AMAZING!!
Poor my Eyes……
Pics were done with artificial light, with or W/O flash to show how this color changes form EXT.light.
It’s Bad cause today here Rains and the sky is not very shiny!! LOL
For the moment it’s all.
C e soon with more updates.
