Yarrrr, The Stealth Is Killed Again

However, this could have been an interesting race. I was headed to a TD meet at a local pizza joint. When I come upon a blue STi. It was a good looking car. We were both stuck behind a car at the stop light. He revved at me, and I revved back. The light turned green and I got around the car in front of me and he followed suite.

We line up next to each other and compliment each others cars. He then asks if I want to run, or course I do. So I drop it second. Should have gone to first but I wanted to be nice to my syncros. I figure, three honks and we go. I guess not. I get one off and he goes WOT. I attempt to do the same. He pulls on me but I almost get back to his rear bumper before we shut down. I had to turn, so he gave me a peace sign and kept going. I did the same.

I bet that would have been a pretty even race otherwise. Still nice to see some decent people still in this hobby around here.

The hobby is dead here in Canadia. Well, not really, just those around this area are less informed (by a huge margin). The GS-T was considered a "godly" car with just an intake and exhaust if that gives you all an idea of what it's like here.

Damn.

You should come back, it seems to be picking up here, in a good way. I'm sure we'll get an influx of ricers after the fourth FatF comes out though.

Nice race man! I'm sure you would have pulled him a little if you could have taken off at the same time. It's allright though cause everyone knows that beating a 3/S is punishable by death lol

Re: Yarrrr, The Stealth Is Killed Again

I've seen Erics stealth smoke a STI in 5th gear at 65. I know you could have done it man. Well he was seriously modded out....

Things will really pick up when I get there, at least we'll be able to run them, take them to tracks, and get some real drag slips for the cars.

Oh and BTW. I met with some people last night who gave me about 15 job possibilities for the area.

Yeah, Eric was pushing 400 AWHP.

I could have held him had we started at the same time, so I don't feel too bad. That's great about the leads too!
