Aftermarket Rocker Arms, Valve Lash?

I posted some time ago about installation of aftermarket rocker arms. I have the basis of the install down, but what I was trying to ask and couldn't think of the right wording was do you have to set the valve lash? I was originally thinking of ordering the reworked 1.9's but now I'm considering either 1.8's or 1.9s as new machined aluminum pieces. During install, does the valve lash need to be set? If so, how is this accomplished? I see the usual procedure is turn the engine over by hand to open the exhaust valve, at which point you adjust the intake valve...by what means do you adjust the lash, is there an adjustment screw on the "typical" replacement rocker arms for the L67, or are they not adjustable, or not need to be adjusted?

Thanks.

Nope, no valve lash needed on 3800 II's.

You follow the instructions provided with the aftermarket rockers whether reworked stock like from ZZP or the better aftermarket roller rockers. You will need a torque wrench and technically should use a torque angle meter/gauge.

Stock rocker adjustment/lifter preload is 11 lb-ft and additional 1/4 turn or 90 degrees. Aftermarket rockers comes pretty close to this when it is all said and done.
