02 Montana Vacuum Lines
I have a 2002 Pontiac Montana. When I have the button pushed to bring in fresh air from outside there is a moaning sound inside the dash on the passenger side. Sounds like a vacuum line may be the problem, maybe not enough vacuum to move the door over to pull in fresh air. My problem is that I can't find where the vacuum line runs. Please help. Thanks

While replacing the relay to allow the fan to run on high speed (speed 5), I looked around but did not see anything disconnected. So where exactly should I look once I have the glove box removed? Thanks for the help.

look for vaccum hose off anywhere and see if that door in there is opening or staying close when you turn on heat or air it don't make a diffirence eather way.

could be a cracked vacumn line or the blend door not moving properly. line and actuator not hard to find and fix but blend door is on the inside of the housing.what you are looking for is a small plastic line that runs to the actuator this is under the glove box and bump cover under the glove box

Still looking for the vacuum. Does anyone know where it goes through the firewall and where it connects under the hood? Again, I appreciate your help.

i think you should go to auto zone or advanced and get a haynes manual for your car if your going to keep the car so you will need it later. around here they'll let you look at the book or they will show you on computer where it is.good luck....scrapper1.....
