That's right. Still got em both too. Casper is still broke down. And the Nova is setting on the trailer. Haven't got to race at all this year (been getting married and stuff) but would you guys believe that I busted a fuel line?? Yeap, cranked it up a couple weeks ago and got out and seen some type of fluid pouring from underneath then front end. Turned out to be about a 2' line going from a regulator to the front bowl of the carb, lol.

Broke down sitting on the trailer! That's pretty bad I guess, lol. So while I haven't raced any this year, I have spent about $40 on the car, lol. I'm going to try and go later this month, but if not, then this will be the first time since I was like 11 that I haven't atleast been to watch a race.

This winter I may breakdown and drop the stoker motor out of Casper into the Nova and make it go really fast. Don't know though, because if you guys remember, I finally got the Nova to run consistant late last year. If you don't, turned out to be low on transmission fluid. Go figure.

Anyways, I do have 2 trucks, one is a '06 GMC (43K miles now) and the other is a '92 Chevy (195K miles now). Drive the Chevy M-F to work. Drive the G-Mak on weekends and sometimes during the week too. Also got a '08 Pontiac Grand Prix (wife's car), had it since July. She had a '00 Mustang V-6 but you know me and how I'm a Chevy person and all.

Re: Hello from 2005

*pokes head out of cave of hiding*

Had a E46 3er, sold it and bought a Mazdaspeed3. Come to the realization that I horribly miss the 3er, so I'm looking at E46 3ers again. Also find myself wanting a truck quite bad. Not sure why.

When I first joined the forums, I was a freshman in college who just enjoyed cars. Then I really got into moddifying them (but didn't because I was a broke college student with a car whose aftermarket was marked up 2000000000%). Then I got disallusioned in the difference between fun, fast, and quick, and got rid of it for a Mazdaspeed3. Which is fast and quick. Not horribly fun. Ah well.

Now, I'm 23 years old and much wiser than I was exactly one year ago today. I hardly race anymore because I have a wonderful, amazing, commited girlfriend soon to be fiancé, and after three local horrible crashes (one of which was very close to home), I've come to the decision I cannot take the risks of racing or other stupid stuff I did because I don't want to hurt her in hurting myself. Odd how fast one grows up.

I still drive fast, but the asshole pissed off teenager driving is out of my system, no more cruising at 120. I hardly seen north of 85. Meh, I can honestly say I don't really miss it anymore, I still hang out with most of the guys I used to race with, I just don't actually go out and race.

In saving money but not putting 8 kazillion cruising miles and needing to fill up in gas three times a week, I've expanded my firearm collection.

When I joined, I was a freshman in college and I had no idea what I wanted to do in life. Now, I'm in the process of finalizing my Law School applications, and have two very good prospects on the table. Fingers crossed.

I still, in theory, work for General Motors. Yay. I think.
