1993 Deville shifting problem

!993 Deville 133k miles doesn't shift into first, when put in drive. starts out in 3rd. I can shift manually into first and after the car is moving shift back into drive. Trans still feels strong. Is there a control module or a shifting mechanism I can replace? or is the trans history? Thanks
