po 300
OK, well my 96 Windstar kicked up a PO300 "random missfire" code last night. I cleared it, and so far, so good. Now I was on a long trip. Just drove over 3 hours, and was pulling a huge hill, then stopped at a rest aera on top. Shut off car, and came back about 10-15 min later, and it kicked on, at restart. Any chance that could be just a hickup? Something I should keep a eyeout for??
BTW I already played the cyl 4 misfire code last year. Cleaned the EGR ports, cleaned inj's, replaced the lower intake gaskets, and plugs, and wires. |

Re: po 300
Well I cleared the code, and have put a few hundred miles on it, and all is good. Must have been a hickup.

Re: po 300
I guess you could just check the spark plug connections. May be a good time to run some fuel injector cleaner.. Just some simple checks..

Re: po 300
Ya, so far all is good. Everything checked out well. Must just be one of those things.
