No Fuel or Spark!?!?!?

Over the last few weeks my blazer has been acting up... i would try to start it and it wouldnt start until you left the key on the "on" position for long enough for some bell to sound a steady tone in the cab... if you tried to start it without hearing that sound nothing would happen, after it would just fire right up... now it wont start at all and i cant get that mysterious tone that told me when to start my truck to come back... im getting no spark and the fuel pump wont prime either... sounds electrical? and i dont know much about that stuff help please?

What year is it and what size engine is in it?

97 blazer... 4.3L

97 IS A YEAR FOR BAD IGN SWITCHS.
Check all power feeds to and from ign switch.
And look over all fuse boxes for power on both sides of fuses.
