Welcome to AF.

Is is just the DRL portion or any issues with the auto headlamp system...low and high beams?

Re: daytime running lights on 2002gt

Hi, and thanks for the reply. The auto light system is working fine.....but it does seem to take 'till it is just about dark to come on. Manually turning on the lights works o k, fog lamps etc.

the switch should be located at the turn singnal switch at the very end. you say you can turn them on manually well how do you do that?

Re: daytime running lights on 2002gt

sorry if i confused, i meant all the headlght will work withe the headlamp switch, fog lights etc, which i have to do now during daylight hours since the drl's don't come on. The headlamp switch is a rotary dial not on the turn signal switch.

The manual headlamp switch is located at the IP not the multifunction switch (stalk).

He needs to check the 12 volts to the DRL module which comes off the manual headlamp switch in the off position. Check the 12 volts at the DRL fuse socket and see what it looks like, then to the switch and then to the DRL module. Use a multimeter (DMM).
