2002 Wind Deflector

I don't usually ask questions about seemingly aesthetic ideas, but this one is kinda functional and aesthetic.

Have any of you guys put a 2002 wind deflector on your 2000-2001? If so, did you guys extend the 3M tape back to cover the wrap around part? Has anyone done the Thor mod on a 2002 deflector?

I ask cause I am getting sick of the one on my 2000 rattling around. the thor mod made the rattling worse because the piece of lexan I used picks up the corners a bit and they really catch the wind. this also makes the rubber strip want to come off. thoughts?

I believe the stock 2002's have the 3M tape all around. I was thinking of doing the same. My 2000 didn't even have the 3M tape, so I just took the thing off. Anyone know the going rate for a 2002 wind deflector?

so that would mean I would have to add the tape myself. ok. as for your question, I think Xterraparts.com has them for around $102, iirc. check their site for proper pricing.
