Re: abs pump assy
CMan you are somewhat right...
The LeSabre... Does it have Traction Control? If it does its specific to the 92-93 Model year.. In 94 Things changes a bit and the PCM pulls timing to aid in traction control.. If you do not have traction conetrol you may have a bad ABS unit or bad EBCM( pretty unlikely tho ) Almost forgot... What Brake system codes did you get? |

Re: abs pump assy
I have no traction control. I cleared the codes since there werer so many of them. I don't get any codes when I turn the key to the run position. Yet the abs light is on. I need to replace the caliper since I snapped the bleed srew of. The calipers are old and it's a good time to do it. Since i have no codes what would cause the abs light to be on???? arne

Re: abs pump assy
Is the light syaying on in the run position or is it going off after a couple of seconds? Also no codes will be set until you drive the car again if something is wrong. The ABS system goes thur a test mode and checks to see if it is getting feedback from the wheel speed sensors and goes thru a pump test which you can feel thru the brake pedel if your foot happens to be on it when it does that. But I'm guessing you can't drive it becuase you broke the caliper bleeder screw.

Re: abs pump assy
The abs light stays on your right...I am going to replace both front calipers. So my question is there are no codes probably because I can't drive the car yet...Why the light staying on????Any ideas???? Arne
