I went to my LHS today, and I couldn't refrain from taking a picture...

I even thought it was a silver filler...

I have to admit I also get an innocent laugh out of those kinds of things.

For example, the instructions on my MFH DBR9 called out for a part to be painted "Yerrow" and I think recently saw here on AF I a quoted announcement for a Fujimi F430 "Scudelia"

Semi-Gross Black is often called for in Hasegawa instructions.

How about this car http://www.dragonmodelsusa.com/dmlus...sp?pid=GNZG187 "Healy" is spelled Healey on the real car. I do have one of these kits that I will not build.

Sell to me? Many years ago, I had a cream/red '59 with a hardtop. I've never had a car that I enjoyed more.

You can still get them mispelled and all. I had a 59 also. Mine was originally a goldish color but the day it came home it started to get restored. I never finished it and sold it that way just a few years ago. I also had and did finish a 58 100-6. My next healey will be a 100-4.

Re: Gunze blooper?

Here is a current one from Revell. The kit is actually a rebox w/ new decals of Hasegawa's Porsche 962.

I got my first serious ticket driving a buddy's black 100-6. "Passing with insufficient room." The car coming the other way was black and white in color, with a snazzy gold badge on the side.
