Re: No start problem
What are you missing? Have you checked for spark and fuel pressure? One will be missing. COuld be as simple as a wire unplugged. Let us know.

Re: No start problem
it has ignition coils...has good fuel pressure...could one of my coils gone bad(or all) had some moisture in the spark plug journal closest to the driver(driver side under the cowl) could that have ruined the coil?

Re: No start problem
Are you sure? If you did not drain all the coolant you could have had some run into the plug wells. I had a tech do that and could not figure why the engine missed so bad. Clean out the wells, replace plugs and see if it starts.

Re: No start problem
A radiator shop will do a gas analysis and you can be sure. Use a pressure tester put appx. 10 psi on the gage if the gage pulses its got a blown head gasket. http://www.autopart.com/tools/toolsmain/tool/T_7050.htm
This is a picture of one. Take the heads to a machine shop and have them pressure tested and shaved if needed. Use a flashlight lay it flat along the block and check for cracks. Normally between the cylinders. |
