93 cavalier starter removal
93 cavalier starter removal ? Any advice would help.I seem not to be able to get the bolt buy the exuast pipe.Can you take the plastic part off under the starter? I didn.t know where to post this sinse it was'nt a diagnosis proplem.But if it needs moved please move it.

The plastic piece comes off. I can't remember if you NEED to take it off, but I know it makes it easier. Also, depending on why you can't get the front bolt out, you may need to raise the engine slightly with a floor jack if it's hiting on the crossmember. I know I've done a starter on something similar, but I can't remember.
