Check engine light P1259
I have 2002 Honda Accord. I got Maintenance required light, so I took my car to service station and they changed the oil and filter. After two days I got Check engine light, when I took the car back it gave me code P1259. Any ideas what this could be? It says Fuel air metering, but not sure what could be damaged. Service station guys reset the code for me and asked me to drive the car and said it could be fluke.
Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks. |

Re: Check engine light P1259
VTEC System Malfunction-05
That what my DTC library says. Make sure your oil level is up to the mark. If oil level is OK you will probably need to clean the VTEC solenoid screen. Good luck, Sam

Re: Check engine light P1259
I think oil level should be fine, as it was not leeking, and oil was changed 2 days ago.
Thanks |
