99 Windstar misfiring -will that make it fail etest?
My 99 windstar is misfiring... we're working on getting it fixed by replacing spark plugs & wires, fuel filter etc.
My question is.. my plates have to be renewed this weekend, and the van is required to be e-tested. Today is the only day anything is open to e-test due to it being the Thanksgiving weekend. If I were to take the van in to be etested before everything is fixed, will it pass? Or will this misfiring issue cause it to fail? Thanks again for any help you can provide. It depends and call on this.Pull the upper intake apart, the EGR passages are plugged up which will cause the problem misfiring.Ford does have a problem with this and cleaning the EGR passages out will fix this.
