Code e40 power steering pressure switch

Vehicle is a 93 Deville,4.9l..the f5 fuse keeps blowing, I read the obd1 codes and the only code is e40 which according to my repair manual is the power steering pressure switch.I have been unable to locate the switch,the manual shows it to be mounted on the steering gear housing.The fuse ,which is 15 amp also governs transmission function and the AC as well.Can this switch be located somewhere else? This switch appears to be a SPST function...I assume the switch is def.,and closes at the wrong time ,sending 12vdc to the BCM at the wrong time..causing the fuse to blow..Your opinions please..
