97 grand marquis coolant in plug holes

I have a 97 grand marquis that started missing and when i was looking for the miss i found coolant in the #3 and #4 spark plug holes. I could not find where it is coming from. HAS anyone seen this or know what to do to fix the prolem thanks TIM

I think you have a blown head gasket. A radiator shop can do an analysis for you to be certain. I normally use a pressure tester and the gage will pulsate when pressurized with the engine running. If you do it your self take the heads to a machine shop and have them pressure tested. They will shave them if not straight. Use a flashlight and lay flat along the block and look for cracks especially between the cylinders.

Look at the heater hose connector on the passenger rear side of the engine. We have had a lot of the intakes crack around that connection and allow coolant to run into the plug wells.

I was wondering did you pull a plug and notice antifreeze on top of the piston.
Or did you notice antifreeze around the sparkplug?

if it's missing you have head gasket leaking or cracked head or both.do you have white smoke coming out of your exaust?

thanks for the info when i looked at the heater inlet on the intake i did find a crck running down the side .I ordered aneew aftermarket intake from parts to you for$185 thanks again
