1995 Nissan Maxima V6 Runs/Dies
Im having a problem with my 95 maxima. The car starts up fine and drive for awhile then all the sudden when i come to a stop the car dies out. When i crank it the car runs for about 1 minute then it dies out. So i had it scanned and it popped up the code P0325 (knock sensor). So i was wondering before i spend that much money on a new knock sensor if it can be anything esle that can cause that problem?

Re: 1995 Nissan Maxima V6 Runs/Dies
The Maxima usually displays several codes when something goes wrong. Your lucky you only got one! It's most likely the knock sensor. Have you noticed a reduction in fuel economy and power? Those are also indications of a bad knock sensor.
Give us more discription about how the car runs and such and we may be able to help more.

KS cant kill engine; its function is to retard ign if knock is detected. Myriad possibilities from worn ign sw, relays, contacts to bad coilpacks...
