Question 2k5 town and country no heat

I turned the heat on the other day, but I get nothing but cold air, the blower is working fine, and the temp gauge reads normal no fluctuation at all. I drove for about 30 minutes and I got a shot of warm air for a second or two, once, but then it was just cold the rest of the drive. Any clues?

Thanks
Shaun

Coolant level where it should be? Ya I had to ask.

Clogged heater core? If one heater hose at the firewall is noticably cooler with the heater on, could be.

Getting hot air out the defrost vents? Could be a failed climate control panel or diverter door. If I recall correctly defrost is the default fail mode.

Intermittent heat? Try jiggling the temp slider switch. Could be it needs cleaning or the solder contacts connecting the switch to the circuit board are bad and need to be retouched with a soldering iron.
