my car is a piece
So in the last month I have spent about a grand or more just trying to fix my 300m. I have replaced both wheel bearings in the front, all brakes and rotors, tierod on driver side which screwed up my alignment..which i got fixed also, tierod bushings, I think that's all so far. Anyway, there is still a whine and knocking that sounds like a wheel bearing again, but they were just replaced. I brought it into two different mach. and they couldnt find anything wrong with the car, which is bs, I dont think they actually even looked it over myself. What could it be, could the wheel bearing already be bad? passenger side replaced four months ago, driver side replace last week.

Re: my car is a piece
It shouldn't be the bearing, but who knows? Try this: Drive slowly with your window down. If you turn to the left or right see if the wheel make a noise, then drive straight and see if it still makes the same noise. If it only does the noise when turning, then it is a bearing. If it doesn't make the noise when going straight, then it probably is not the bearing.

Re: my car is a piece
Hello. The 300M is a front wheel drive car, thus, if you are hearing this type of sound it may be the drive axel that needs to be serviced or replaced. In case you haven't already done this.
