yeah, i think your chart is way off. My car doesn't usually have trouble on the street but im small fry at the track when 11's dont seem so fast all of a sudden. Ofcourse most the fast cars are trailor queens. There's a guy who is on a lot of car forums. His name is Voodoo Childe. Although he doesn't talk much about his cars, his fastest is a Dodge Dart that went 6.6x@2xx mph. Its a street legal car that he often uses to embaress people who talk a lot of smack. Now to me that car is FAST!!! He's a legend, and known on pretty much every car forum.

P.S. Everything in the Fast and the Furious was gay and stupid and fake. (Hell they used some kind of stilts or something to get the charger up on two wheels.)

well the charts more of a joke, but it seems to work for most street cars.

Motorcycles do not fall into the chart cause they're already faster than cars by a wide margin. Heck, almost any sport bike can run 12's stock some touch 11's and the few elite touch 10's. So i didnt include them on the chart, i do believe theres a disclaimer about them at the bottom or something

Not that I'm defending a movie, that by all respects sucked, but they shot the Charger with hydraulic attachments to make it jump, because they needed something repeatable and consistent for multiple takes...and I would think a launch like that would probably be too fast for bulky movie cameras to follow and still look good...oh and they didn't want the Supra to be left too far behind.

Actually, the elite reach low 9's with a pro rider. 4 years ago, a Kawasaki ZX11 was able to run a 9.45 in the 1/4 stock with OEM tires. The Suzuki Hayabusa (GSX-R 1300) is more powerful, and lighter...imagine that. As a disclaimer, the same bikes would probably run high 10's with an okay rider, and 13's with a novice. With bikes, the rider makes that much more of a difference.

kidrocket: the Lingenfelter Corvette with the LS6TT has a 0-60 of 2.7 seconds.

Every one is entitled to their opinions. I have driven them and found them not to be all that. Nice cars though.

I watched a BUSA at Reynolds GA run a 8.5 on street tires and no mods!!! I have about 500 witneses also!!! when he launched he leaned all the way across the handle bar with the front wheel about 1' off the ground to the half way mark!!! I had chills!!! :flash:

Is that why you've been trying to "entitle" us with yours about the cars you don't like(which happen to be Hondas most of the time)?

Just kiddin'.

BTW, if you're ever in Arizona, I'll hook you up with a good race with a street-legal, all-motor Honda. My friend with the CR-X broke into the 12's with a 12.9 last Wednesday. I wasn't there to witness it, but I'll trust all the other people I don't know who are excited about it. Oh, it was on street-tires.

well think about it. youre in a honda acura forum. if you come in here blowing shit up, youre gonna get that kind of a response. Approach hondas with the same attitude as you would any car you want to make faster, and youll get better responses

Agreed...What else do you expect from a gang of Honda/Acura owners?? And I think their reaction is warranted...And if you can't deal with their responses, attitudes about Honda/Acura's, and views on cars other than Honda/Acura's specifically domestics...Then maybe, just MAYBE this HONDA/ACURA forums isn't for you.
