Suspect Bad CPS and/or Bad Pulley
This weekend the vehicle stalled at a stoplight, would not turn over for a few attempts and about 15-20 minutes later started right up like there was no issue.
I did experience earlier this week the classic symptom of the tachometer dropping to zero with the Traction Control light illuminating. This would make me think I have a bad Crackshaft Position Sensor. However, when I was trying to start the motor up, it sounded like a pulley had seized up, since I was getting some noise from one of the pullys. Are my assumptions correct? Is there anything else I should check before I start replacing components? Thanks.

Re: Suspect Bad CPS and/or Bad Pulley
It sounds like a crank position sensor based on your symptoms. Also, check the harmonic balancer and make sure it is not coming apart since you are getting pulley noise but you'll be able to see the condition on closer inspection once it is removed.
