91 Voyager 3.3L Forward Gear Slipping Reverse Works Fine

hi i like to know if the filter is bad or if the tranny is gone?

when you put it in gear to drive forward it slips u can stomp on the gas and only moves slowly, havent tried 1 2 just OD and Reverse works fine

any help on this one?

its a 3.3L engine

for me there was magnet semi blocking main suck up tube that dont fix it ebay sells ob1 scanners like 40 bucks give or take watch tcm or solenoid packs know to go wrong less often in 3 speed 4 speed night mare

ok u lost me after the getting the obd1 reader what do u mean by that? so then what would it be? if it isnt the magnent blocking? but wouldnt that cause problems for reverse too if the main suck up tube was blocked?

in filter there is one oval hole huge back there is a hole main suction line for tranny sometimes filter falls down and magnet moves in to hole scanner would tell electrical or mechanical like solenoid pack check pack or ecm to go bad

ah ok i think now if ithe filter is fine and magnet still on the tranny cover

then how would i check this at u mentioned "would tell electrical or mechanical like solenoid pack check pack or ecm to go bad"

obd scan would tell you about mechanical or you can turn key on 3 times on off then leave it turned on engine light will blik fast then pause blink again so tells trouble code if any computer has in it

cycle keys 3 times leave on engine light tells trouble code

ok i tried the key thing no errors just 55 which is end of codes,. so if it isnt the filter and if it isnt the soilnode what would it be

but i havent checked the filter yet gonna do it when its not raining but if it was fine what else could it be

forgot to add my mom was telling me

when she gas's the engine and isnt going anywhere just going really slowly she lets off the gas and goes back on the gas and it fixes itself usually and drives fine till she comes to a stop sign then sometimes she can drive and sometimes she cant

sorry for being late on that not sure if that helps my situation or not

book say 55 is completion offault code display on check engine lamp

van known for bad computer try key thing after tranny acts up might forget or disconnect battery 30 sec or longer let disconnect terminals touch it will reset computer then try

ok ill try that when it acts up again as its driving fine now ugh figures eh

so it has a bad known computer? soo then with the computer being bad it will short out the solidiones so they wont work i didnt even know it had electronic shifting on this thing
