1994 bonneville won't start

I have spent over $2500 on this car in the last 6 months-tires, rotors, brakes, radiator, compressor, EGR valve, throttle postion sensor, tuneup, wires, and taken it to 3 garages and the dealer just to get more repair bills. I took it to a pontiac dealer last week. They called said it was most likely the crankshaft sensor-wouldn't know until they checked it for ground and power. I thought a code should show, but they said not necessarily. So they called again, said they replaced it but still won't start and in the middle of the conversation-mechanic said cleaned mas and it started. Called me back said they took it for a spin, working fine. Went to the dealer, paid my $300, got my keys, car won't start. They played with it, got it started I got home, turned it off and it wouldn't start. 42psi, vacuum fine. I need this car and can't afford another i am out of work. Any suggestions?

See if it'll start with the MAF sensor unplugged.

Hello - no idea if your situation is anything like mine but I suffer from the same problem except mine is due to the neutral safety switch being defective. I have to at times shift the car into neutral and back again to get the car to start. Doubt it is the same but just in case the other suggestions are not working. Thanks.

Actually that is a possibility... And the very same thing happened to a Friends 1994 SSE Bonneville... We were a bit confused by the issue as the car ran great and didn't have any issues once it was running.. But it wouldn't happen while I was there... I jumped in the car one day to move it and hit the key and got nothing... I had my Scan Tool on me that day and hooked to the car only to see a P/N Safety History Code... I tooled it to notice that the PCM thought the car was in Reverse even tho it was in Park... I ran it thought the gears a couple of times until the PCM thought it was in park and Poof the car started... But it still had problems figuring out what range was selected... A New PN switch solve his issues as well... So yes I'd say thats a possibility that should be looked into.. At times a Scan Tool can come in very handy

Check the ground bus on the drivers side under the carpet right by the kick panel somtimes the ground wires burn up and loose ground conection and do weird things.
