'94 pontiac transport plug wire protector
I need to tighten my front valve cover but cannot access two of the bolts as they are blocked by the wire guide for the front plugs. How do I remove the wire guide?? 1994 pontiac transport

I presume you have the 3.8 engine, lift it straight up it is in guides molded into the valve cover

...Thanks Jeff....I'm now going to reroute the new wires I had installed last year..or was it the year before...anyway.....and discard the stubs that were left in the wire holder....

Re: '94 pontiac transport plug wire protector
jeffrv--thx response yes it's a 3.8--the 'dogbone'? will not allow the cover to be lifted--can the dogbone be removed to allow the cover removal w/o the engine relocating itself?? (i'm guessingthe dogbone is to keep the engine from rocking only, not really supporting any weight)

Re: '94 pontiac transport plug wire protector
Sorry, forgot to mention that, the dog bone can be removed without the engine tipping. I loosened the bolt on the engine bracket, and removed the bolt on the upper rad support to swing the dog bon out of the way
