2000 Sonoma Exhaust Question

I currently have a cheap turbo muffler on my 4.3 vortec. I dont want to spend a lot on performance exhaust so i went to LMC Truck to see what they have. Theres a dual cat back system but it doesnt appear to have any sort of muffler on it. Im really new to this stuff so i dont know anything about it. Would this be worth it? any suggestion are greatly appreciated. This system has resonator tips. Like is said im only seventeen and learning. Would you recomend sticking to mufflers or would the resonator exhaust work.
